Community Gardens

If you’re interested in planting your own plot of food and flowers, Ferguson has two community gardens that can help you do just that. Plots are available in the Old Ferguson West Community Garden for $10/year. Sign up at www.oldfergusonwestneighbors.com. Community workdays in the garden begin at 9am on March 31 and will continue the last Saturday of each month through October. For more information, contact Larry Robinett at LDRobinett@gmail.com or (314) 522-3225. Plots are also available in the Robert Superior Community Garden, located at 802 Robert Avenue. The garden is open to anyone at any time. Community plots are available for anyone to work in or pick from. There is also a Children’s Garden for neighborhood kids to plant in. Rainwater is harvested to keep the garden free for all participants. If anyone would like to schedule an event, register for an 8’ x 8’ plot or ask any questions, please call Craig Kidd at (314) 522-3151.
