Complete Streets

“COMPLETE STREETS” ORDINANCE

As part of the Live Well Ferguson! initiative, the City of Ferguson adopted a Complete Streets ordinance, November 18, 2008. Complete Streets is an innovative policy that will shape Ferguson’s future as a livable, walkable, and bikeable community for all ages. The policy adopted states that Ferguson will design, build, and maintain streets in a manner that accommodates safe and contiguous travel for all users — seniors, persons with disabilities, children, pedestrians, cyclists, trasit-users, and cars.
